SCC’S SPEECH LABORATORY

The Speech Laboratory of Sunrise Christian College was installed last September of 2004 This will help the students to develop their communication skills, such as: correct pronunciation, intonation, enunciation and correct posture in terms of delivery. A camera is also installed to expose the student to the television where he can see his own image while speaking at the podium. The said Speech Laboratory was installed for the purpose of helping the students who have difficulties in uttering words correctly. This is administered by a Speech Class Instructor, who has proficiency in oral communication.
Furthermore, the Speech Laboratory was intentionally designed to upgrade the students’ potentials, and to build their self-confidence an audience and, perhaps, helps them achieve their important goals in life. Every student is given the chance to show this interest in oral communication by providing him the necessary materials that will enhance his speaking skills. The speaking skills that made Merriam Defensor Santiago, Raul Manglapus, our impressive college president and other prominent figures in the world of public speaking.
