Five
orphans of the Leyte Disaster to attend Sunrise Christian
College
After
a lot of recruiting work, opposition, and bureaucratic
hurdles, we are now getting closer to having a dozen
or more Leyte orphans study at SCC next month (June).
All of them have lost either a mother or a father
or both. Some have lost their siblings. They also
lost their homes, farm lands, animals, and all their
earthly possessions.
Government
Recognitions bestowed to Sunrise Christian College
Amidst
winds of desolation and a handful of discouragements,
the Government thru, CHD granted its recognition to
Sunrise Christian College at last!

SWIMMING
POOL: BUSINESS OR PLEASURE?
Our college is not looking in this perspective only
but rather focus on what this project can do to help
the filipino students learn how to swim and who knows,
maybe in the future we will be able to send a representative
from our city for swimming competitions held nationally
or abroad.
