I
am Blessed
Zhyra Sesma
Last
February I meet a man name Scott Saboy, he handed me a flyer
and an enrollment form. He told me that he is looking for
some enrollees for the World Bible School Free Correspondence
Course. And because it was free I enrolled, but I am not
expecting that this thing is true. I doubt the man because
he is stranger to me. Then one day when I arrived home my
younger sister told me a group of people is looking for
me. She said they wanted to see me in person and would also
explain to me on how I would finish the course. In other
words this people would tutor me and I knew from them on
that this is really something to get serious about. This
is not a joke; I am really going to study the Bible.
I
am surprised to see seven people in front of our door. Their
names are Ems, Nerio, Dadz, Shon, Jeff, Weng and Babes.
Initial reaction was I let them in and talked to them and
know them myself. They had explained to me the course in
details and I started to be interested with it. As they
go along they told me they are to visit me once a week just
like my sister. I told them it would be perfect for me because
I am always staying at home. They are true with their words
because they visit me and my sister once and sometimes twice
each week.
I
have learned to love the group I wanted to be with them
always because I feel close to the Lord with every lesson
we discuss. I love their works and ministry also I began
to realize that being with them would help me in my spiritual
growth which in the past is being neglected and was not
prioritized. I have used my influence to my peers, and the
group were able to met my friend Rose and together we had
a Bible sharing with the them that is scheduled once a week
When
we learned of Jesus and his sacrifice to the lost soul,
we know that somewhere along the line we had some part to
finish and so, last March 14, 2005 we commit ourselves to
Baptism. Me, Rose and Joseph had accepted Jesus and reserve
a place here in our hearts for his dwelling. I am blessed
to have people like Scott Saboy, people that are concern
with each lost souls. People like those young missionaries.
God bless them all.
