Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings of peace and love.

Bro. Josefino M. Costales met an accident. He was hit by a Weena bus, while crossing the road, last Wednesday, June 13, 2007 on his way to attend the midweek fellowship meeting. He was rushed to the Davao Medical Center with the help of the 911 ambulance. He suffered 3 broken ribs, head injury, damaged spleen (which was removed the same night through surgery). Initial financial requirements was facilitated by Bro. Wendel Avisado.

The policy of the Bus Company is to reimburse the expenses which are covered with Official Receipts, however, expenses since Saturday have not been reimbursed because of the absence of Weena’s liaison officer, who is presently attending to the problem re: bombing of their busses..

Last Saturday, Bro. Costales complained of a headache. He underwent a CT scan and it was found out that there is blood clot in his brain, which needs surgery. The estimated expense is not less than P500,000.00.
